Portugal gained market share within the electronic goods, music and books chain group Fnac Darty in 2025, reinforcing its status as the group’s fourth most important market while enjoying its best performance in Portugal ever.

Fnac Darty saw its revenues in Portugal rise by 6.2% last year, to €539 million, with a “like-for-like” (LFL) increase of 7.3% – considering only stores that have been open for at least one year. Performance in the national market was the best among the different geographies where the group operates.

Globally, Fnac experienced near-stagnation in sales, with an increase of only 0.1%, a figure that rises to 0.7% in LFL terms. Total revenues amounted to €10,329.8 million or €10.3Bn.

France remains by far the leading market, with a turnover of around €6,068.9 million, a figure practically identical to that reported in 2024. Italy follows, with sales of €2,583.7 million, which translates to a decrease of 0.9%.
