IPBN announces 7th annual Sustainability Conference
The Irish-Portugal Business Network (IPBN) has announce the 7th edition of its flagship Sustainability Conference, taking place on St Patrick’s Day, March 17 at the UE Oriente Green Campus from 9h – 13h.
This year’s theme, ‘Ocean — The Blue Economy,’ explores one of the most urgent and opportunity-rich areas for Ireland and Portugal. With both countries deeply connected to the Atlantic, the ocean represents shared heritage, and shared leadership potential, in sustainability, science, and innovation.
Through dynamic panel discussions, the conference will examine:
Climate impact on coastal infrastructure; Science, innovation, and ocean climate justice, and
The future of tech-driven marine protection (AI, drones, IoT).
The Ireland Ambassador to Portugal, Alma Ní Choigligh, IPBN Chair and Board Members, and a representative of conference’s Premium Sponsor, IPBN member company Multi Family Wealth will be at the event. As always, the conference will be a powerful forum for connection, bringing together business leaders, sustainability experts, academics, innovators, Executive Partners, and members from both countries — with dedicated time for networking over coffee and a light lunch. Registration is now open. Places are limited.
