The International Sharing School – Taguspark was distinguished with two prestigious awards at the Dukes Education Awards 2025, held in London.

The Oeiras-based school received the ‘School of the Year’ and ‘Marketing Initiative Awards’.

The Dukes Education Awards annually recognise schools belonging to the Dukes Education Group internationally, acknowledging educational projects that stand out for their academic excellence, pedagogical innovation, leadership, and impact on their communities.

These distinctions reinforce the school’s—and the Sharing Education Group’s—position as one of the most innovative and consistent international educational projects in Portugal.

The awards reflect the collective work of the entire educational community, highlighting the dedication of the educators, the creativity and critical thinking of the students, the close relationship with families, and an educational vision centered on meaningful, collaborative, and future-oriented learning.

Sharing Education Group consolidates growth and reinforces its position in international education in Portugal

The Sharing Education Group begins 2026 with a path of sustained growth and national consolidation, reflected in the performance of its three international schools in Lisbon, Madeira and Algarve, as well as in its growing international recognition.

The group stands out through a differentiated educational offer, which integrates excellent international curricula, premium and personalised services, and a pedagogical approach focused on the student and the well-being of the educational community.

A family project with a global vision
Since its foundation, the Sharing Education Group has maintained a solid commitment to educational excellence, educating students from 12 months to 12th grade in a multicultural environment aligned with the challenges of the 21st century.

The group’s journey began in Madeira in the 1980s with the creation of the Madeira British School. In mid-2018, the current owning family — brothers Miguel, Filipe, Francisco and Gonçalo Ladeira Santos — inherited the management of the school, driving the growth of the project and its evolution into a leading international educational group.

Currently, the group has grown from one school with 40 students to three international schools with over 1000 students and 300 staff members, with an expanding educational community and plans for sustained growth in the coming years. The international training of the Ladeira Santos brothers, in countries such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Spain, as well as their professional experiences in cities like Dubai, Doha, Aspen, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Tenerife, and Lisbon, is reflected in a global vision of education, combined with family values of hospitality, rigor, and innovation.
