Committed to strengthening its international operations, Constructel Visabeira has announced the purchase of the British company Aardvarc Group, a group specialising in energy infrastructure services in the United Kingdom.

The goal is to “support the next phase of growth in the energy infrastructure sector” in that country, says the subsidiary of the Viseu group in a statement.

“Constructel Visabeira, a subsidiary of the Visabeira Group and a global leader in energy and telecommunications infrastructure services, with a minority stake held by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, has completed a strategic investment in the Aardvarc Group, a leading group in energy infrastructure services in the United Kingdom,” the company announced in a statement, without quantifying the value of the investment that “reinforces Constructel Visabeira’s consolidated presence in the British market, where it operates through its subsidiary MJ Quinn, a leading company in the telecommunications and energy infrastructure sector in the United Kingdom,” the company explained in a statement.

The Aardvarc Group will be integrated into MJ Quinn, creating “significant opportunities for collaboration, operational synergies and the sharing of best practices”.

The British group has “specialised technical solutions for clients in the utilities, industrial and energy transmission sectors.
