State budget surplus at €2.8Bn to November

The Portuguese State recorded a surplus of €2,836 million euros up to November, with an improvement of €633.9 million euros on 2024, according to the budget execution summary.

“The balance of the Public Administrations showed an improvement of €633.9 million,” reads the document released today by the Budgetary entity.

The total balance stood at €2.835 million to November buoyed by an improvement in Social Security revenues (€1.4Bn) and Local Administration revenues. (€470 million)
