Hyatt plans to triple number of hotels in Portugal to 2027

The Hyatt has announced that it plans to triple its hotel offer in Portugal by 2027 and that it will open four new hotels. (three in Portugal and one of Cape Verde)

The hotel group expects to open the Andes Lisbon in 2026. “It’s 170 rooms and suites will embody the creative spirit of Lisbon, bringing together contemporary handicraft and local art in each detail”, says the group.

The Standard Lisbon is also slated to open in 2026 in a project that will transform the historic Santa Clara Palace into a “stage for culture, connection and spontaneous freedom”. Its 79 rooms and suites, rooftop terrace, spa and gardens have been designed not only as spaces but as backdrops for experiences, each one full of potential”, says the group.

The Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve will be opened under the Hyatt Regency brand. “Located close to the renowned Vilamoura Marina and world-class golf courses, the hotel will offer more than 250 rooms and suites, responding to the region’s growing interest in sports tourism,” the organisation points out.

The Hyatt Regency Cape Verde Sal is also opening, which will  be the first Hyatt hotel in the Cape Verde archipelago. “The hotel will be located on the island of Sal, known for its pristine beaches and vibrant culture.

Designed for leisure and business travellers, it will offer high hospitality and spaces that promote relaxation and connection to the natural beauty of the island”, the organisation highlights.
