Angels Way invests in three AI-focused startups
Portuguese business angels fund Angels Way has invested in three AI-focused startups: Cortmaster, Curiouz, and WiseWorld.
It brings the total number of start ups supported by Angels Way over the past nine months to seven with a total of €350 million invested.
Angels Way co-founder and managing partner of OW Ventures (which is behind the fund), Luís Filipe Gutman, told the online news source ECO that they were aiming to invest in 20 startups.
“In just nine months we have made investments in seven startups which shows the confidence of the founders in our model and the speed at which we are building this ecosystem.
“Our portfolio already reflects diversity and complementarity with investments in different industries that have a high disruption potential”, he said.
Angels Ways comprises a community of 436 angel investors and is one of the funds under the management of OW Ventures.
Dedicated to investing in early state, the fund invests a maximum ticket of €50,000 per startup with the goal of investing €1 million in 20 Portuguese technology startups.
