Vanguardeagle and ABNSouza create joint real estate company
The real estate companies Vanguardeagle and ABNSouza have set up a joint company under the US brand Corcoran according to a note released on Tuesday.
“The merger operation consists of the creation of a joint venture by Vanguardeagle – Asset Management, Lda. and ABNSouza Investimentos, S.A. that will be dedicated to the provision of real estate services through the operation of the Corcoran franchise in Portugal,” states the same note.
The Portuguese Authority for Competition AdC states that Vanguardeagle is a “company that is mainly engaged in real estate development, and whose share capital is held by the PNI Group and José Cardoso Botelho”, and ABNSouza is exclusively engaged in “the exploitation of the master franchising of the franchise network of real estate mediation agencies under the Century21 brand in Portugal and Spain, not holding any franchise of its own”.
The Corcoran Group is a well-known real estate company, particularly in the US luxury market and has expanded internationally, founded by US property tycoon Barbara Corcoran in 1973.
VanguardEagle is known in Portugal for the brand developer Vanguard Properties, a Portuguese real estate development company, recognised as the largest in Portugal. They specialize in premium and luxury residential and tourism projects, particularly in Lisbon, Oeiras, the Algarve, and Comporta. The company was founded in 2017 by a European family office and investor José Cardoso Botelho.
Some of its flagship luxury products include Terraços do Monte (Lisbon), Tomás Ribeiro 79 (Lisbon), Muda Reserve (Comporta), Infinity Towers (Lisbon), Bayline (Algarve), and White Shell, also in the Algarve.
