Fieldfisher sets up in Portugal with offices in Lisbon and Porto

The European law firm Fieldfisher opened offices in both Porto and Lisbon over the summer.

The office teams are headed by Managing Partners André Miranda and João André Antunes whose team were up until now known as André Miranda Associados and include 70 professionals, including four local partners and 47 lawyers.

The launch of Fieldfisher Portugal is part of the firm’s plan to strengthen its presence in European jurisdictions of strategic relevance.

Following its recent expansion into Austria, Italy and Poland, Fieldfisher now has 27 offices in 14 countries, consolidating its position as one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing law firms in Europe, having earned more than €460 million in 2024.

The choice of André Miranda Associados for this integration in Portugal is explained by the consistent track record of the firm in the Portuguese market, as well as by the consolidated international experience of its team, which already has a solid portfolio of clients across various sectors and areas of practice.
