Vila Galé revenues grow 15%
The Portuguese hotel group, which has hotels in Portugal and Brazil, saw its revenues grow 15% in 2025, turning over €193.5 million on the Iberian peninsula, an increase of 8% on 2024.
The group, which said the results were positive, foresees that it will enjoy even greater growth this year.
In a press conference in Lisbon this week, the group’s president, Gonçalo Rebelo de Almeida, began by emphasising “yet another positive year” in which turnover increased, even if at different rates in the various countries were the hotel group operates.
The president pointed to the growth of overseas tourists in 2025 at its hotel units in the Brazilian market, with sales having achieved “very relevant” amounts, nearing the turnover obtained by the hotels on the Iberian peninsula in absolute terms.
In Spain and Portugal, Vila Galé turned over €195.2 million in 2025, an increase of 8% on the previous year, while revenues from Brazil stood at €807 million reais (€130 million), a growth of 23%.
The group currently has 52 hotels worldwide – 34 in Portugal, 13 in Brazil, four in Cuba and one in Spain, providing a total of 10,000 rooms and 25,000 beds.
