Lisbon’s Fintech House fosters new generation of financial startups
Fintech House, the largest fintech hub in Portugal, located at Lisbon’s SITIO – Portugal Fintech Hub, has announced the 11 startups selected for the latest edition of SPRINT – an intensive five-month acceleration programme designed to support early-stage fintechs and insurtechs with national and international growth ambitions.
After a selection process, 11 startups were chosen representing three strategic verticals: Fintech, with Dori Finance, Simplyfier, Ignis Vault, FinSports and Famillity; Proptech, with Sócia, Flippex and Soditim; and Regtech, with Vencer, Coalex and GreenDash.
SPRINT is a programme that combines practical workshops, specialised mentoring and integration into an active community of entrepreneurs.
The selected startups will work on critical areas such as product validation, market entry strategy, structuring of operations, growth metrics and preparation for investment.
These will culminate in a Demo Day where the fledgling fintechs can present their projects with the aim of raising their first round of investment and leaving their mark on the European fintech scene.
Over the last few years, Fintech House has supported the launch of 17 startups, and in the last year alone, 7 startups have raised more than €455,000 euros in investment. At the same time, the initiative has fostered a vibrant community of more than 120 national and international fintechs, promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration and continuous innovation.
