The World’s most famous footballer is already a shareholder in Medialivre, owner of Negócios, Record, Correio da Manhã, CMTV and NOW, explained his reasoning as to why he has become a shareholder in Perplexity.

“Curiosity is a requirement for greatness. You win when you continue to ask fresh questions every day. This is why I am proud to announce my investment in Perplexity.

Perplexity is driving the curiosity of the world and together we will inspire everyone to ask more ambitious questions”, wrote the captain of the national squad and Al Nasser in a speech at the Portugal Football Globes where he received the Galardão Prestígio (Prestige Award).

Founded in 2022 by Aravind Srinivas, Denis Yarats, Johnny Ho and Andy Konwinski, Perplexity AI is seen as one of the great rivals to ChatGPT, one of the most popular search engines powered by artificial intelligence in the world.
