Vista Alegre sales up 6.8% but profits fall 33.8%
Vista Alegre closed the first nine months of 2025 with sales up but suffered a sharp fall in overall results according to a communiqué sent to the markets.
The fine porcelain and crystal glass company reported an increase in sales of 6.8% in the first nine months of 2025, but net profits fell 33.8%, totalling €2.5 million.
Between January and September, EBITDA fell by 3.7% to €19.2 million, with the EBITDA margin standing at 18.5%. Operating income fell to €8.1 million, a reduction of €1.7 million, which corresponds to a 17% year-on-year decrease.
The company attributes this deterioration in profitability mainly to the increase in the energy bill, with energy costs growing by 26.1%, an increase of about 1.6 million euros compared to the same period in 2024.
The company said it would continue to focus on international expansion which is essential for its growth strategy.
