Galp hits profit record of €973 million to September

Portugal’s petrol and gas giant Galp Energia netted almost €1Bn in profits between January and September with a positive net result of €973 million – a new record for this specific period, representing a growth of 9% on the same period last year.

In a note to investors released by the Portuguese stock market commission CMVM, Galp said that the company was “well placed to exceed the current guidance for 2025, both in terms of EBITDA and operational cash-flow”

“Galp’s solid operational dynamism continued in the third quarter of 2025, sustaining robust cash generation and consolidating our solid financial position, a reassuring factor in the current macroeconomic sentiment,” say co-CEOs Maria João Carioca and João Marques da Silva.
