Pharma company Organon creates tech hub in Lisbon

Organon Pharmaceuticals is expanding its presence in Portugal, having transformed its current center in Lisbon into a Center of Excellence in Business Technology.

With 200 people in the country, it is estimated that the company will increase its team by 50 workers.

“This expansion is a significant opportunity for Organon and further reinforces our commitment to lead the way in terms of business digital transformation,” says the company’s CTO Michael Rauenzahn.
“We are focused on improving cutting-edge skills in areas such as AI, automation, data analytics and ERP. This center will provide a clear opportunity to further develop and expand these areas,” said Organon’s vice president and chief technology officer, who will oversee the expansion of the global enterprise technology team in Lisbon, quoted in a statement.
