Portugal 2030 has €8Bn in funds to June

Portugal 2030 (PT2030), which are 10-year levelling up funds aimed at supporting Portugal’s efforts to close the gap with more advanced European Union economies, has totted up around €7.9Bn of funds approved to June or 34.5% of the total €22.9Bn).

In turn, the amount of funds applied strands at €1.9Bn or 25% of the funds approved.

Payments to beneficiaries have now reached €2.2Bn. For the period, 1,075 notices were issued, with 762 of these now closed, representing over €9.2Bn in funds allocated for competition.

According to a communiqué, 61% of the fund has already been allocated through competitions, 45% of which comes from the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

From May 2025 to April 2026, 2020 notices were issued for PT2030 and the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (FAMI), mobilising over €3.1Bn in funds.
