The Moving to Portugal Show and Seminars – the UK’s premier event covering the financial, legal, lifestyle and property considerations of moving to Portugal – has announced the date of its latest event.

The show will come to central London on 16th October 2025 and has already seen record early registrations. Christina Hippisley, General Manager of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK, which organises the Moving to Portugal Show, comments:

“Interest in living and working in Portugal is strong and growing. Early registrations for our London show are up 44% compared to our last event there. We’re seeing a powerful combination of factors pushing people to leave the UK and attracting them to Portugal as an alternative.”

Portugal’s broad appeal means the country is proving a hit with everyone from retirees to remote-working entrepreneurs. It has just taken top spot in the newly published Global Retirement Report 2025 from Global Citizen Solutions, which highlights Portugal’s low crime rate, favourable business climate, welcoming visa policies, affordability and exceptional quality of life as being among the country’s top attractions.

A desire for a better quality of life is a key driver for many of those attending the Moving to Portugal Show. According to its 2025 Portugal Relocation and Investment Survey, 89.5% of respondents cited quality of life improvements as their top reason for considering relocation to Portugal.

The Moving to Portugal Show’s role is to provide information and clarity to all those considering a move to Portugal, whatever their circumstances and motivation. The event provides first-hand access to experts in taxation, wealth planning, legal services, banking and financial services, foreign exchange, asset management, visas, real estate, property development and more.

The next Moving to Portugal Show takes place on 16th October 2025, from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel. Registration for the event, which is free to attend is now available online at https://london-mtp.eventbrite.co.uk/.
