Bondstone starts first phase of Arcaya
The private equity group Bondstone, which specialises in the development of property assets in Portugal, has announced and signed two Memorandums of Understanding with the developer Casais – Engenharia e Construção, S.A. and wood construction specialists Carmo Wood that mark the start of the first phase of the construction of Arcaya, a residential project in Vilamoura, Algarve.
With a prestigious location in the Algarve, nestled in a 68 hectare forrest and an approach centered on sustainability and exclusivity, Arcaya represents a property project on sustainable construction processes.
The first construction phase involves the construction of 76 houses – 44 detached uni-family (Terracotta, Timber and Sand Villas) and 32 terrace houses (Sunset Villas) – and a Clubhouse with 3,500m2, with a total gross construction area of around 22,400m2.
Bondstone is building a project that combines the sophistication of a destination in harmony with nature and the technical rigor that mark the construction of the Arcaya development.
Casais and Carmo Wood are two strategic partners with extensive experience in delivering high-quality residential and tourist projects in the Algarve and with a strong commitment to industrialization and off-site modular construction.
Work is slated to start in 2026 with the first keys handed out to buyers expected at the start of 2027.
